For over a decade, DMA has been a writer, producer and show runner of dozens of high-rated non-fiction TV shows for networks such as CBS, Fox, Bravo, Travel Channel, History Channel, Disney Channel and more. She is the author of "The Show Starter Reality TV Made Simple System, Vol. 1: How to Create and Pitch a Sellable Reality Show" and offers reality production seminars and training through her production company's "Show Starter" service. A former film story analyst, DMA also is the author of “The 1-3-5 Story Structure Made Simple System: The Nine Essential Elements of a Sellable Screenplay” and teaches screenwriting story structure nationwide. DMA is a graduate of Stanford University and an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the Producers Guild of America and Showbiz Mensans.
