Unfortunately there are thousands of domestic violence victims in the us that don’t do anything about their situation and don’t realize there are lots of self defense products out there that can and will make a difference in their lives.
Self Defense Products are generally thought of as a means to protect yourself from a stranger attacking you. I am here to change that. Most domestic violence victims don’t even think of themselves as victims. They think they deserve what they are getting, or that their man was just angry because they didn’t do what they were told or whatever stupid excuse their partner has for hitting them.
If your partner is abusing you in any way…YOU DON’T HAVE TO TAKE IT! Love does not hurt and there are things you can do to change this miserable life you live.
Get some self defense products like pepper spray or pepper gel, a stun gun, or a taser. You might think that you don’t want to hurt the man you love or he has beaten you so much you don’t think you can win in a confrontation with him…..yes you can!
All you need is the element of surprise. If he has been beating you for awhile, the last thing he will expect is for you to pull out a self defense product like pepper spray, or a stun gun and use it on him.
A lot of domestic violence victims think they will not be able to find any better of a partner or they have been verbally abused so much they think …â€This is the best I will ever have.†or “I have no place to goâ€. There is help out there for you. One in particular is The National Domestic Violence Hotline. They can help you with assistance and will be able to refer you to a domestic violence service in your area.
I have said this before ladies…Not all men hit. Some of us men actually think you are the greatest gift god gave us and if it weren’t for you this world would be a cruel and unloving place. If you think that no man will ever care about you you’re wrong. I do…and so does God. That is why I started my self defense products site and blog. Protect yourselves. There are several things you can do to get out of your situation.
1. Call The National Domestic Violence Hot Line- They have tons of resources for you to use. 1-800-799-SAFE.
2. Get some self defense products-
* Pepper Spray- Pepper spray can get you out of a jam in most situations unless your man is used to pepper spray from being in jail from hitting you so much in which case a stun gun or a taser will put his butt in check.
* Stun Guns & Tasers- Stun Guns & Tasers are very effective in stopping an attacker but you need to make sure they can’t reach you. Wait until he is done with the abuse for the moment and sneak up on him and stun the crap out of him. Once you do this get out and call the cops! Then you can go back and either get your stuff or have him arrested and a restraining order put against him.
Your best bet is to cut your ties and move to a friends house or a shelter until you can get back on your feet. I know this isn’t fair but it is better than being beaten every day and if you have kids you will be saving their lives as well. If you have a little boy and he is growing up watching his dad hit you..What do you think he will do when he gets older? Now, I am not saying that all little boys who grow up in this environment will be the same type of guy but, the odds are working against him.
The main thing is you do something. If you put it off you will never do anything and I will say it again. There is no excuse good enough for a man to beat a woman…PERIOD!
