One of the most wanted children's toy lines for this Christmas has got to be the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters, but just exactly are these things? They've been kicking up quite a fuss in the toy business, in stores and online, and are this year's must have toys for children.

These soft and cute hamster toys are battery operated interactive pet toys, giving kids all of the joy of having a pet to care for without the mess, the additional expenditure or the risk of the animal being injured. They're a great way for children to enjoy some pet fun without the heartache that can come from a real animal, and a good primer for children to move onto the real thing later in their lives.
