Ok, what is Water4Gas and who or what is a Squidoo?
First, Squidoo – it is an enormously popular internet thingy.
And it is Gigantic!!
The best place to find out what Squidoo is is… Squidoo! And They do have a great faq page which will answer most any question you might have.
So, let’s say that you have an area of expertise. I am sure that you must. Or let’s say that you have something that you are an obsessed freak about. Certainly that is true eh? Well Squidoo facilitates you creating a page where you can show off what you know and meet up with your fellow fanatics. within a community where there have been almost 500,000 pages hand made by users in a very short period of time.
It is part of the Web 2.0 that you have been hearing about… social networking.
The pages or “lenses” are very well set up so that you can really pack a lot of info into a small space without looking cluttered. Much more so than on Facebook or My Space. For instance, if you have a blog someplace else, you don’t have the ability to suck in the recent headlines from that blog to your MySpace page but Squidoo is set up for you to do that. Squidoo enables you to find other weirdos uh… cool people who share your interests so you can connect up!
So, finally, yesterday, I created a Squidoo page for Water4Gas…oops, sorry, it’s a lens, not a page. I forgot. Here you will find the most recent blog postings from several Water4Gas blogs. You will find Water4Gas videos which are on YouTube and various other links of Water4Gas related websites. It’s all there in a very small amount of space but without looking cluttered or congested.
Oh! I failed to tell you what Water4Gas is. Oops!
