Troubleshooting 'Digital Camera' Mode Issues in Mac OS X - By: kmadhav

A digital camera with SD (Secure Digital) card or MMC (MultiMedia Card) card connect to your Mac OS X computer using different set of protocols. The cameras communicates with computer in two different modes: 'Disk Drive' mode and 'Digital Camera' mode. And, the Mac OS X applications, like iPhoto and Image Capture, recognize the camera in any of the modes. But there are times, when a Mac OS X user may find that while accessing the camera, when he switches the camera mode to the Digital Camera mode, it is no longer accessible.
