The MPG Revolution Below The Radar - By: GARKO

When I was working with Aaron Russo in 2006 to help him get the truth out about the IRS and the Federal Reserve I found myself a bit too visible on the radar. Russo’s film, America From Freedom to Fascism was the shot heard around the world and inspired many millions to get active and effective in the truth movement. I held some successful get togethers with Russo and his volunteers here in Los Angeles and coordinated participation in some peace rallies with those volunteers where we marched with signs expressing "Want to End The Iraq War? Shut Down The Federal Reserve".
And I was rewarded with getting my bank account statement in my mailbox ripped open (after seeing my vapid bank account balance they finally left me alone lol), getting my car's windows smashed in and papers in my automobile left in a different disarray than I had left them, getting nearly run off the road and other such experiences.
When I looked at the shattered car window on the asphalt I said to myself, "son, you are doing something right but you are doing something wrong". And I did back off a little to be less of a target. But I now have a very high traffic blog for the truth movement and the Ron Paul Revolution (which was the brain child of Aaron Russo by the way).
There are so many revolutions happening these days that one requires a score card. One of these is one that even the most timid can participate in because it is totally anonymous. And it is anonymous naturally, not because of anybody's attempt for self preservation.
This is a movement which targets the car manufacturers and the oil industry.

Did you know...
1. That Exxon made $8 billion in profits in 2007 while fuel prices at the pump doubled and tripled.
2. That the price of a barrel of crude oil was $18 prior to Sept 2001 and is now more than one hundred dollars and this is continuing to soar
3. That a car 100 years ago performed 40% better on fuel mileage than a car in 2008
4. That the average car only utilizes 20% of the fuel that you pump into it which is why you have a catalytic converter... to pass the unburnt, unused fuel out the back
5. That if a gallon of fuel costs $3.30, 10% of that gets wasted as inflation (figure .30 cents) and about fourty seven cents goes to taxes of some kind. So about 25% of what we spend on fuel goes to the government.

People have the power and if we move forward together then we can make positive change.
As regards fuel prices the best approach is to drop out completely. No, I don't mean to walk and ride your bicycle to the office like they do in Japan. I am saying that you can convert your gas engine to hydrogen and never have to pump another gallon of gas again. Even if you just convert to a hybrid you will be saving up to 35% on gas consumption, possibly more. So unless the government puts nazi inspectors in charge of looking of your automobile's engine, this would be a totally anonymous activity and an effective revolution!
Another benefit is that you will be empowering your vehicle to function better, also you will be doiong something effective to bring about cleaner air for all of us to live in and you can experience the satisfaction of knowing that you are part of a revolution against the car manufacturers and oil corporations and you can say that with regards to the price of gas ... "we ain't buyin' it anymore"
