The Little Things That Can Save Your Marriage - By: Irina

If you are having trouble in your marriage, it is probably not for one big reason. It is usually a trail of little things that have piled up over the weeks, months or even years. Save your marriage today by taking care of the little things.

It is true the little things are most important to a woman. A man who can learn this at the beginning of a relationship will be far ahead in the long run. The nice thing is that the little things are actually easy to do.

Most men believe if they are hard working, provide well for their family, spend time with their children and treat their wife to a dinner out every now and then without complaining then they are a good husband. Please do not misunderstand these things are important for a healthy marriage but there really are a few more little things that really matter.

What are these little things?

Present a neat and clean appearance
 Send an unexpected gift
 Speak courteously
 Be attentive
 Be thoughtful
 Go out on a date

All of the things noted were probably a part of the relationship before the vows were taken. This is considered the courtship period. All too often once the vows are said on the wedding day and the bride and groom are pronounced as man and wife, the courtship stops and these little things become things of the past.

It should not be that way. Many new brides are swept off of their feet after the wedding not by their groom but with the reality that the courtship has ended. It is not that he does not love her anymore it is simply he failed to realize how important these little things were to his new bride. But it can always be changed with the right guidance.
