Speed cleaning your House the Bathroom Is, But Doesn't Have to Be the Most Deplorable One to Clean - By: Jerri Voteur

Easy Speed Cleaning the Bathroom Cleaning Tips

We all know that cleaning the bathroom isn't exactly an enjoyable endeavor. It can be downright gross, depending on how long it's been since the last deep cleaning. Still, it's a job that has to get done. The sooner you face the music and get to work, the sooner you'll have a shiny bathroom to show for it. And, you can save yourself trouble in the future by streamlining the process with the following helpful bathroom cleaning tips:

The first thing to do is to make sure you have all of your bathroom cleaning supplies handy. Any cleaning job is ten times easier when you can quickly access what you need. Start by assembling a bin that contains the following bathroom cleaning products:

• Soap scum and mildew remover
• Surface cleaner
• Glass cleaner
• Toilet bowl cleaner
• Floor cleaner
• Scrub brush, rags, sponges, paper towels

Now that you've got your supplies ready, remove all of the junk from the bathroom and put it where it belongs. Wet towels, dirty clothes, your daughter's makeup, and so on, should be out of the way. Your goal is to have nothing on floors, countertops, or in sinks and tubs. Toss the bath mats and rugs in the laundry too.

Now that you've got the area prepared, you'll want to clean the bathroom systematically, using the following steps:

• Clean the shower and tub. This is probably the toughest bathroom cleaning task, since soap scum and mildew tend to build up if you don't clean regularly. For bad soap scum, apply the cleaner and let it work for a bit before you start to scrub. Thoroughly scrub the shower and tub and rinse well with plain water to wash away dislodged dirt and grime, along with the chemicals from your cleaning products.

• Next, clean the mirrors with a good glass cleaner, and dust off any surrounding baseboards, moldings, frames, and shelves.

• Then, move on to the fixtures and counters. Start with the sink and faucet, then wipe down the counters. Next, you'll move on to the toilet. Start by cleaning the bowl with a bowl brush and a good toilet bowl cleaner. Make sure you get under the rim. Also wash the seats and the lid, both on top and underneath. It's a good idea to wipe down the outer surface of the toilet as well. Don't overlook the base of the toilet, especially around the back.

• Finally, You'll sweep and mop the floor and take out the trash.

Here are a few other quick bathroom cleaning strategies:

• While reusable rags and sponges are cheaper and more environmentally friendly, using paper towels can eliminate some of the "ick" factor, making you more likely to clean more often.

• Disinfecting wipes are great for touch-up and surface cleaning. You can also use them to clean toilet surfaces, the base of the toilet, and the floor around the toilet.

• You can also use disposable toilet bowl cleaners that can be flushed when you're done.

Using these easy bathroom cleaning tips will make cleaning your bathroom a snap. Do a touch-up during the week, and deep clean weekly to ensure that grime doesn't accumulate to make bathroom cleaning needlessly difficult.
