You could be a movie star, a singer, a big business man or woman, but you sell out on life, and yourself. You have opportunities, but do you take action or settle to mediocrity. We know much about success and it goes - set goals write down and achieve success.

We know the facts. Today, out of 100 people reading this, one will take it to the bank. They will literally go onto major success. 4 others will achieve still notable success. The rest will settle back to the TV and life will go on, like it did yesterday.

Ask yourself this question - do you really want to change? So many people do, but so few really take action. You have opportunities, and you can take them or leave them. They can be distant dreams or they can be your reality. And it is all around the corner. The question is at that future date, who will you be, what will you have, and what will you be doing?

So, I guess you feel motivated for change. Now, the key is to understand success. I have studied success for decades, and have had the privilege to be able to see my failures and successes along the way.

The successful do something truly amazing. They become the biggest ships, the biggest airplanes. Literally they do what others don't do. They think of what they want, and take action.

It is called goal setting. And goal setting is the success secret to all those success stories you have seen. Whether it is Bill Gates having a goal to see computers on every desktop or Richard Branson to set ballooning records, they all set goals. From the top billionaires to the failures, the difference we can see is the goal, the ideal, the vision.

What is you ideal? What is your vision? We all do New Year Resolutions, but so few actually do the necessary steps. If 95% of the people follow the same patterns, and beliefs about success, then why don't they achieve it?

Set goals write down, and achieve success. That is the key. If a vision is a book, an ideal is a chapter, and a goal is the point of the chapter. They all go together to create an amazing life. And we are not talking about daydreaming which is a way to escape the mundane of life.

Goal setting is about you taking the lead in your life. It is about thinking about your life. The things you like and dislike. And then setting a goal, writing it down, and taking steps to make it a reality.
