3. Look at shingles for signs of damage. Replace all destructed shingles and secure all loose good condition shingles.

Before tackling any roof repair job, besides having the suitable tools and knowledge, make sure you keep safety firstmost. Make sure your ladder is sturdy and solid, wear shoes with good tracking, and do not attempt roof fixes alone. Should you get injured no one would know. Know your limitations and expertise level, sometimes it is better to pay to have roof fixes done by a knowledgeable contractor then attempt to do home repairs that are ineffective.
