Ebay is a website that allows people to bid on products, buy products and sell products. Many people sell on ebay to make extra money.

Anyone can create an ebay account. Log onto the website and create a user account. You will need a user account if you want to sell on ebay or buy on ebay. It is free to create an ebay account and by doing so you will become a member of ebay. Once you are a member, you can sell on ebay or buy on ebay.

You may browse the ebay website without creating a user account; however, if you find something you would like to buy while browsing you will have to create an ebay user account to buy the item.

While browsing the ebay site you will notice that there are many items for sale on ebay. Many collectible items are sold on ebay. You can find many collectible items on the website that can be found anywhere else. The collectible items are often for sale. Collectible items are also often up for bid on ebay.

Ebay offers many items for bid. Bidding can be a fun way to buy something online. You type in the highest price that you are willing to pay for an item and it is not seen by anyone else. If the price you typed in beats the price that everyone else typed in than you are considered to be winning the item. If you typed in $12 and the highest price that someone else typed in was $10.52, than you will only pay $10.53 for the item; however, someone else may come along and outbid your $12.00 bid.

Bidding usually lasts for one day, three days, five days or seven days. Time counts down on the website to the last second of the bidding time. You can even receive text messages to tell you when bidding ends for the item. If you are the person with the highest bid when time runs out than you win the item. The person who is selling the item will send you an invoice for the item you won.

Ebay also offers many items that are for sale. People who sell on ebay often will pay a small fee to set up an ebay store. An ebay store will allow a person to sell as many items at one time as he wants. The ebay store allows a person to sell items by categories and list numerous items at one time. The ebay store also allows the person who owns the store to name the store.

You do not have to have an ebay store to sell on ebay. You can list as many items as you want for bid on ebay daily. When selling on ebay you can also list a buy it now price so individuals may buy your item instead of bidding for it. Ebay charges a small fee for listing an item; however, if the item sells ebay removes the listing fee and charges a small percentage of what the item sold for.
