Luxurious Lingerie To Turn Him On - By: Victor Epand

Whether it was the tunics worn by higher class girls during the ancient Egypt times, or the chemise worn by nobility during the Middle Ages, or perhaps the corsets worn during the Victorian times, luxurious exotic lingerie has always been a status symbol that conjures an air of femininity, glamor, and mystique.

While little known, but still interesting all the same, lingerie trivia reveals that some of the current and trendier lingerie pieces are modeled after the same patterns that were popular eons ago. For example, the chemise was introduced during the fourth and the sixteenth century A.D., and the prototype for the corset appeared during a twelfth century manuscript.

Although, we all started out in training bras, modern day sexy lingerie sears the runway and the red carpet with celebrities like Jada Pinkett Smith and Kristin Davis wearing outfits inspired by these classic pieces. While sheer lingerie is visually stimulating, the see through material the transparent lingerie is made from is often quite delicate and requires extreme care while being shaped and stitched.

Most of the major clothing manufacturers also produce undergarments, bras, and lingerie products. While Calvin Klein is probably better known for their fashion clothing, they also have a line of lingerie. Calvin Klein's lingerie line includes thongs and lace items that are well made and seamless, which means fewer areas that are prone to tearing.

Bodysuits, control corsets, fitted camisoles, and waist nipping shorts and vests, also known as shapers lingerie, are figure forming pieces designed to be worn under street clothes. Women who are not comfortable with their silhouette may want to look into using shapers lingerie. As the name implies, shapers lingerie is designed to sculpt the body's natural lines and provide a more svelte profile.

Bali, which is known for their bras and panties also has a line of Bali Lingerie shapers. Maidenform is another company that is better known for their bras also has a line of lingerie called flexes shape wear. Be realistic with expectations of shapers lingerie though, even the tightest of corsets or shapers lingerie is not going to make a full figured woman into a Paris Hilton clone.

Instead, full figured women should embrace their natural curves and try plus size lingerie. The Avenue label has some of the best plus size lingerie, intimates, and baby doll lingerie on the market. Their designs are very feminine and flexible enough to work with all body types. While most plus size lingerie is designed to enhance the full figured woman's shapes, there is some plus sized lingerie that does just the opposite.

Think about it for a second, how do you think women like Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Lauren achieved their hourglass shapes? While history is not likely to reveal their true secrets as to how they achieved those shapes, there are those who would say their shapes were obtained through the use of corset lingerie. With the multitude of lingerie styles available, from revealing lingerie, bustier lingerie, and other more risque lingerie styles every woman is sure to find a lingerie style that flatters her form, from cup-less bras to bikinis.

Lingerie is perhaps the easiest way to increase the feeling of being more desirable, daring, beautiful, and sexier. Not to mention the spark adding new lingerie can add to both your and your partner's passion.
