Not being able to look after yourself, losing your sense of independence can be one of the most difficult things a human has to face. There are various reasons that contribute to the loss of independence, such as old age, an injury or a prolonged illness. Whatever the cause, the end result is the same, an inability to live alone as normal functions become difficult to handle alone. However, now there is the option of live in care that has proved to be a saviour for anyone needing assistance.

Thanks to live in care, a person needing assistance can stay at home, in familiar surroundings, leading an independent life, with the aid of an unobtrusive care giver. Unobtrusive because such care givers are specially trained in the art of providing assistance when required and not to push their presence when not needed. Also they are experts in the art of providing the help in a way so as not to make a person feel dependent. It is all owing to the expert training that allows them to become the ideal companions. This is why live in care has become so popular these days, at it presents a viable alternative to the person needing assistance having to move into an old age home or in with relatives, generally options that signal a loss of living the way they are used to.

Sometimes there can be more than one care giver appointed to a person which helps bring variety into the person’s life.
