When people consider investing money in Little Giant Ladders widely
advertised Lifetime Warranty often becomes the decisive factor. Very few
though know the answers to the following questions: "What is covered?",
"How do I make a claim?", and finally "What is the catch?"

First of all, at Ladder Depot we sincerely believe that quality of Wing
ladders really stands out. After distributing LittleGiant brand for
more than 27 years we still can count submitted warranty claims with one
hand. Secondly, the claim process is relatively simple and painless.

So, what is covered?
Little Giant Ladders are not indestructible and as a general rule a
ladder that shows ANY sign of defect regardless of the warranty will be
repaired or replaced by manufacturer. No one wants a defective ladder in
use. But as stated in original manufacturer’s warranty: "... warranty
... will not cover wear and tear, misuse and/or abusive treatment". If
your ladder problem does not fall under warranty you will be charged a
fair price.

How easy is it to exercise the warranty?
If you believe that the problem is caused by defects in either
workmanship or materials, or just want your ladder to be fixed call
800-453-1192. Obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Box your
ladder and send it attention "Warranty Department". (We didn’t put the
address because Wing Enterprises is moving to a larger and more
convenient location. Ask for the current address while on the phone with the
customer service). Relax. Shortly your ladder will be fixed or most
likely replaced with the brand new one. Simple, isn’t it?

What is the catch?
In one word – FREIGHT. You have to pay the freight both ways. The
return freight will be reasonable since manufacturer ships thousands of
LittleGiant Ladders all over the world. They have huge discounts with the
freight companies, but getting ladder to the factory will cost you
dearly. FedEx, UPS, DHL and other freight companies use so called
"Dimensional Weight" factor to calculate the freight. Unfortunately ladders are
oversized and can’t be split into smaller packages.

What to do?
Not only is your Little Giant Ladder the best ladder in the world, it
is also most SERVICEABLE ladder in the world. Hinges, Lock tabs, Shoes,
Caps as well as the whole Outer or Inner Assemblies are available. If
you ladder problem doesn’t fall under the warranty, consider fixing
the ladder yourself rather than sending it to be fixed by manufacturer.
If the problem is covered, still first compare the freight charges
against the price of the replacement parts.

Hopefully you will never encounter the problem with the Little Giant
