A Chinese hour is a part of the lesser known animal signs of the Chinese astrological charts of destiny. They are important for predicting the characteristics of success each person will possess due to their hour of birth. This type of an hour is 120 minutes long. There are twelve animals associated with each Chinese hour, just like there are animals associated with the birth years that repeat every twelve years. The animal hour signs for the birth year are associated with the outer person that someone wishes to present in public. But it is the inner animal of the hours that represents the inner, secret personal characteristics that are the true markings of the individual.
