If the Strogg are getting you down, you need to do something about it. I am, of course, talking about Quake 4. You are expected to take out an entire alien race by yourself. Of course this is no big surprise, due to the fact that this is the story line in 90% of the video games out there. Nonetheless it can be tough.

Earth is under siege by an alien race. The Strogg are a half person alien, and half robot killing machine that look like they have been buried for a few weeks and popped up out of the ground ready to kill. They have this grudge against sentient beings and feel the desire to destroy any form a civilization they see.

The Quake series is, alongside Doom and Wolfenstein, one of id software's great contributions to the first-person shooter genre. Quake IV is a direct sequel to Quake II, where you play as a space marine named Matthew Kane, who has recently been assigned to Rhino Squad. With the leader of the Strogg Makron assumed dead, things seem like the good guys are winning. But what kind of game would that be? LAME!

So now that you are up to speed, we will start off by throwing down some cheats for Quake 4 that will give those Stroggs a run for their money!

While playing press BACK and bring up the objective screen. This won’t pause the game, so be sure to be in a safe area away from roaming Stroggs, bridges, or anything else that could kill you, and input the following codes:

To get everything:
UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B,A
To restore your life:
B, A, B, A, UP, UP, DOWN, X
To restock ammo
B, A, X, Y, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT

Now that you can get all of the guns such as the shotgun, grenade launcher, the energy-powered hyperblaster, rocket launcher, the railgun, a nailgun, the lightning gun, the BFG, and the dark matter gun, along with the fact that you can become invincible, you are pretty much ready to go. Take down the Strogg army as a one man killing machine and do the world proud. There are also a lot of tough achievements to get in the game as well.
