Bali is apart of Indonesia. With a population showed as 3,151,000 in 2005, the island is home to the large majority of Indonesia's small Hindu minority. 93.18% of Bali's population coheres to Balinese Hinduism, while most of the remainder adopt Islam. It is also the biggest holidaymaker destination in the country and is celebrated for its highly educated arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.

Bali covers small area between Java and Lombok which constitute to five islands: Bali, Penida, Ceningan, lembongan and Menjangan. Bali divided to 9 districts (8 regencies and 1 municipality). Bali has a tropical climate which is influenced by seasonal wind pattern and alternate every six months. From 9 districts in Bali the most populated and mostly visited by tourist is Badung district.

Here in Badung there some best area well known by foreigner like Kuta, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua. But there are others like Kerobokan who gain popularity in recent year because this village still retain its natural beauty and its rice paddies. Kerobokan lies Knorth from business art shop, and restaurants between kuta,legian and seminyak.

Many foreigner consider Kerobokan village is the most suitable area for expat living because Kerobokan only several minutes from busy and crowded Seminyak area but still have the serenity in mind for building their dream villa. Here at kerobokan area there are many villas and boutique hotel. There are more and more foreigners are building their dream villa here which they use only for a few weeks a year.
