The Kelty Redcloud 110 and the Redcloud 90 are essentially the same pack except for some minor differences. I will try to explain the Redcloud here and why they are different.

What’s the Same

The Kelty Redcloud in general is an internally framed backpack that is an excellent balance of affordability and performance. These packs are designed for heavy load hauling with many capabilities and many convenient access points and an array of features.

Both packs come equipped with an adjustable Cloudlock II suspension system along with twin lightweight aluminum stays and horizontal anti barreling stay and they use an HDPE framesheet for reliable support. Using this design provides stability plus load bearing strength all the while avoiding the cumbersome rigidity of external frame packs. They also use a dual density waistbelt which is contoured to give a comfortable load support. Both backpacks also use the Kelty patented Scherer Cinch system which is a pulley like system that doubles the tightening force of the waistbelt, helping to put the majority of the packs weight to rest on your hips.

There are 2 models of the Redcloud 90, the small/medium and the medium/large. Both of these models and the Redcloud 110 have padded and curved shoulder straps and all can be quickly and easily adjusted to comfortably fit varying torso lengths. The Redcloud 90, small/medium, will accommodate torsos ranging from 14.5"-18.5" while the medium/large model 90 and 110 fits 17.5"-21" torsos.

The pack body of the Redcloud 90 and the 110 has a large top loading main compartment plus a lower compartment that will accommodate a backpacking style sleeping bag. There is a front panel that is zippered that allows you quick access to your gear from the front of the pack. The lid of the 90 and 110 can be completely removed and can be used as a lumbar pack.

Some additional features for these 2 styles of packs include side pockets with zippers, a daisy chain attachment system, ice axe loops, a sturdy carry handle, and two mesh pockets for water bottles. There is also a lined pocket for glasses and the like with both models being hydration compatible.
