If your hair is usually dark, you will purchase a nice conditioning treatment and perhaps a nice burgundy and auburn sheen. The lighter nice hair, the more color it's going to absorb. If you have lighter hair and be wise with temporary type hues, then you will probably find a beautiful head full associated with red or auburn hair from a henna application. I have naturally blood blonde hair that gets dramatically lighter when spending time in the sun. My last henna application, while using the Jamila powder turned out beautiful, if I accomplish say so myself. This was about 3 weeks following your application.

Today, to get started: You might have your henna powder. You may make a mess! Wear grungy clothes and if you can do this outside, in all probability you'll appreciate not having to fix up the mess inside bathroom later. Dedicate at least some hours for an application. A whole day is great! I like to treat myself to per day at the beach or even the river, or complete my nails, give average joe a facial, etc. Make it time for them to feel beautiful. Another reason to think about applying your henna outside (in addition to the mess) is because you ought to let it bake on your hair for at least a couple hours. If you make excessive, you can always experiment with mendhi (henna tattoos) or it's going to keep in the fridge in a tightly sealed container for a month or two.

If you've planned on just doing one hair application for a little longer than shoulder length hair, I would use about 35 grams of your powder (about one third of the package). In a few hours, rinse your hair and see how beautifully, naturally red you can be!
