James Cameron has always been a fan of technology and space, as you might have noticed from his movies.

He lobbied NASA to revive the plan of giving the Mars Rover a better set of eyes.

Nasa has created many of these space rover before. Getting more and more advanced at what they do and faster at reporting back to the NASA with data. Looking at advancing their rover further, James' Cameron had to step in. James' Cameron believes that this new 3D camera on the Rover will benefit the team at NASA for further years to come.

However this plan was halted due to time constraints of not being able to test it properly before launching off. Cameron is certain that this new technology on the Rover Curiosity will benefit for future missions.

The Curiosity Rover's mission is to simply find the signs if Mars ever supported life or is perhaps still capable of doing so.

The $2.5 billion Curiosity is set to leave next year and will be landing in August 2012. Although $2.5 billion is quite a lot of money, it will be surely worth it if this Rover does find a way to have life habit this red planet called mars.
