If you are an Internet entrepreneur you know the many challenges you face everyday trying to turn a profit. One challenge that is often overlooked is the attitude we all bring to our office everyday.

I don't care if your office is on a lounge chair on your deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You still have to watch how you think about things. Having a negative attitude can rob you of money in your bank account!

So what can you do to maintain a positive attitude?

1. Keep the reason why you are working online in front of you at all times. Write it down and tape it to the side of your monitor. Look at it once in awhile too.

Try writing your big reason down rather than a long list of goals that you quickly toss in the trash. This is why most New Year's Resolutions fail.

They become nothing more than a long list of bothersome words! Plus many of them actually require something that becomes not that important.

When it comes to setting goals for your Internet business you can fall into the same trap. This is why you are better to focus on your "why" and not a list of goals.

If your why is really meaningful to you then you will work harder to achieve it.

2. Keep a daily to do list and start it off with one easy task you can accomplish. This makes sense for several reasons.

One is it gets you in the habit of becoming action oriented. It is too easy to procrastinate away our day when we work for ourselves on the Internet.

Another thing is it moves your business forward. If you actually accomplish one thing every day, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year, you are accomplishing 250 things that year. That is pretty impressive.

As you work through your daily to do list cross things off when they are finished. This is very motivating and really helps you focus on the next thing on the list and helps you stay positive.

Finally create some of tomorrow's list the night before. This gives you a starting point to jump right in. You can always add to it as you go about your day.

There is no doubt a bad attitude affects are productivity and ultimately our profits. Follow the tips in this article and it will help you stay more positive and accomplishment oriented.
