Is Water Purification Necessary? - By: Mark Jhon

Unpurified water is not safe for drinking today given the alarming rise in pollution levels. Even water purified through conventional methods like usage of candle filters, muslin cloth, etc. still retains contaminants that may prove dangerous to health. Boiling is one of the most common methods of purifying water, which has been followed since time immemorial. But to make the water pure, it requires at least 20 minutes of boiling which means high consumption of fuel. This may prove costly in the long run. Moreover, if boiled water is stored there are chances of recontamination. As per a research, 80% of the diseases that commonly affect people are water borne. These common diseases include gastro-enteritis, typhoid, cholera, paratyphoid, dysentery, diarrhea; impure water can even cause worm infestations. Manufacturers have come out with advanced water purification systems to facilitate a healthy environment, i.e. to ensure that the water people drink is completely safe and free from contaminants. RO water purifiers are used by millions of users across the world.

Generally, purification of water means involving the water in a process that frees it from any kind of impurity that it may contain; impurities may be bacteria, pesticides, lead, dirt particles, and other contaminants or micro organisms. It is not only one step that the water purification process is involved. A number of steps deem the water pure. Furthermore, it depends on the type of water and the intensity of the impurities and contaminants found. An advanced water purification system, through its step by step process, purifies the water. If you have not yet installed any water purifier system, install one immediately and stay away from water borne diseases.

The concept of the RO water purifier system has grown popular today. Almost every corporate office is installed with a water purifier system and many offices use RO purifiers. You can buy RO systems as per the preferred capacity. However before purchasing a RO purifier you must get your input water tested for TDS level, as RO purifiers should be used only if the TDS level is very High. Some companies offer the facility of performing home demonstration of the purification system and deliver the required product right at the customer’s doorstep. You can also shop online and receive the system at your home. You can also procure the desired water purifier by dialing given helpline numbers.
