Is MLM Success Recruit, Recruit, Recruit? - By: peterbennett

There is a terrific array of styles held by everyone seeking MLM success

One such style is along the lines of the Tortoise. Stoping to smell the roses and appreciating the scenery along the way.

On the other hand there are the Hares that fly out of the blocks with wind in their sales and big dreams of annihilating anything and everything that comes in their way.

The burnt out Hare just never changes.
In terms of MLM, it is not a sprint!

If only the speed out of the blocks determined the end result. Your success will depend on your ability to maintain a consistent pace. Just ask the Tortoise.

Does your MLM success really depend on a recruit, recruit, recruit mentality or can the Tortoise approach be more beneficial in the long run?.

In my opinion, people deserve better than to be treated as a minor pawn in the bigger game that can become recruit, recruit, recruit.

Network marketing is a people business and not purely a numbers business.

The structure of your business is naturally up to you and it is only one such thought that you should recruit as many as possible, letting the strong survive.

The end result of course is a strong committed core group and another group that has been left in their wake.

The corporate world is somewhere where this type of dog eat dog mentality is rife and maybe even an everyday occurrence. I'm yet to be convinced it is the best approach for the MLM industry.

For new people searching for early MLM success, the tendency is to attack the market with little or no regard for quality.

Relationships seem to be put on the back burner with the emphasis put on results. In a lot of cases, the initial contacts will not play a major part in your future business.

Just like most new sales staff, the hunger and pace set to get results is amazing.

Whilst the efforts can be commendable, the process seems driven by the need to put a notch in the belt so to speak rather than the provision of solutions to the prospects.

If you had to give $100 to every person you signed up, how many would you sign?
What if you had to pay a wage to your new signing?

If the answer is yes, your payment consolidates your comittent to coach, lead and guide which of course should see a healthy return on your monetary investment. If the answer was no, you would not be alone in this industry.

This business revolves around the success of your relationships. The level of integrity you display along with the trust you have developed will be huge steps in the right direction.

Nobody in this business denies the importance surrounding our abilities to recruit but to what extent is best for your business?

It can be tough but there is nothing wrong with saying no. Results are not in the first people you come across. They are found in the best ones..

Put the quality and personality checks in place prior to signing your future prospects.

Take the risk and fill your downline with people you actually like and want to work with. The long term results will be waiting for you.
