Interviewing your potential daycare provider - overwhelming Fullerton daycare, daycare, fullerton, child - By: liamcote222015

After your initial phone interview you will want to set up a face to face interview and viewing of the daycare.
Best interview times generally during nap time, or after work, but if you can go at nap time that is an ideal time. Typically interviews shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. You can almost tell right away, when you meet and enter a daycare providers home.
A good daycare provider typically has all their children on a good schedule, which is good for you, since your child will develop a good natural rhythm, let face it very few of us are on a solid schedule when it comes to our kids. God bless the daycare provider, whom teaches our children nap time is at noon to 1:30 a precious ninety minutes for us.
As you enter the home notice the house is it well kept tidy a bit messy, or a total wreck. Imagine your child time 12, 9, 5. If the house is in order and clean that is a good sign. If it smell nice another good sign, sometimes babies can be a bit stinky but for the most part the daycare should smell clean.
Preview the daycare, look at the cribs, high chairs, ask questions.

1. What is your schedule?
2. How often is everything cleansed?
3. Do you use bleach on the toys?
4. How do you handle sick children, is a runny nose okay?
5. What do you feed them?

6. What do I have to bring? If a daycare provider advises you that you have to bring a crib, take it home on the weekends, this is a sign this is not a daycare for your precious bundle of joy.
Your own motherly instinct will guide you when you making your decision, that first hand shake and the feel of the home or school. Will give you the right feeling right away.
Ask as many questions that make you comfortable, and no question is silly we have heard them all and a good daycare provider during the tour will answer most of them anyways.

Our Philosophy
The Children’s Corner’s offers children an opportunity to grow in all developmental areas through a well-designed, integrated program of activities. We believe that as caregivers, consideration must be given to the “whole” child and how we can best meet those needs on an individual basis. The program components consist of an integration of many approaches to the teaching of specific skills. We want to keep children interested, focused, and challenged.
Above all, we want children to have FUN!
