Internet Work From Home - Ways to Increasing Your Income - By: Jim C Green

Given the current state of the economy, many individuals are asking how to augment (or replace) their regular income. Both conventional and Internet work from home businesses have been used now for many years to start generating quick income with minimal expense. The lowest cost conventional businesses are usually MLM based ventures, whereas other low cost options are available on the Internet, based on Internet marketing. In this article we focus mainly on Internet work from home ways for increasing your income.

With a focus on the Internet, several options are possible, including a custom online store, selling on Ebay or other such sites, and affiliate programs. Internet marketers have used each of these with great success and many now are selling, or even giving away ebooks and courseware to help others in getting these types of ventures started quickly. An additional option that is somewhat new is combining Internet marketing with traditional MLM.

Internet marketing options include two main methods: paid and search engine optimation (free). We concentrate mainly the organic search engine optimization route to increasing your income, given that much less expense is involved. In using the Internet as a medium for advertising, what are the steps needed? Here are the steps by and large agreed on by most Internet marketers:

  • Establish a Blog - A WordPress blog is one of the best ways to achieve organic search engine rankings. A well-organized blog should reflect your passion, as a natural extension of topics that relate to your primary business concerns. Your blog should put across your unique business skills and knowledge.

  • Advertise your Blog - This step involves adding content from your blog to germane online directories, and publishing in as many places as feasible. Well known business networking expert, Dr. Ivan Misner, describes this step as a 2% solution. In other words, doing this step will put your business in the top 2% of your field, mainly since so few actually will do it.

  • Generate leads - By including an offer on your blog, or a link to one or more websites including a valuable offer, collect a list of "subscribers." Your offer can be an ebook, a video course, or something else of value. The key is to over-deliver content at this point, meaning that your efforts are a real benefit to those that elect to "follow" you. Thus you achieve "attraction marketing" at this point. Or in affiliate marketing, your subscribers would be presented appropriate links where they can purchase product at this point and the next step would not be needed.

  • Monetize your subscriber list - In the beginning, break the ice with a small commitment, such as a $1 trial offer or other "give away," but your "system" will also offers of greater cost once you have proven that you truly deliver value in your beginning offers. If you are involved with network marketing, you can introduce those with similar interests to your MLM business eventually. You may find them "attracted" naturally to your main business venture. This step is often referred to as a "funded proposal," solving for many the issue of cash shortfall faced by most MLM distributors.

In one very familiar system, the offer from the main blog consists of a $1 per day trial in building a system supporting any MLM business. The turn-key "system" contains proven Internet marketing tools and generates affiliate commissions, so we do receive commission (a funded proposal). In addition, our "clients" benefit from this precise system to duplicate our efforts and produce their own affiliate commissions.
