One tried and true method of achieving higher search engine page rankings, is article marketing. Recently, internet sensation David Wood clearly demonstrated just how effective this technique can be, resulting in an upsurge in popularity.Many don't know about the plethora of article publishing sites, or directories that exist online. Most of the better ones review your content in order to keep the quality and usefulness of their sites high. There are multiple article search engine submitter systems on the market. Although we'll not attempt here to look at different article submitter software, we may take this on in a future article. For now, we're just interested in the steps involved in the process and a brief demonstration.

The system provides an automated registration process for the hundreds of article directories, where possible. Some directories that use CAPTCHA codes must be manually processed for obvious reasons. Finally it includes automated submission to about 80 percent of the directories not using CAPTCHA codes in the submission process.

As a result of "spinning," one article can become hundreds of articles each viewed as unique to Google, Yahoo and Bing. Of course, keyword research is important in writing an article as well as using article submitter software. Your practice should always include keyword research so that you target the best possible "niches" for your blog or website, and try to used variations throughout the article as well as the title. In this way you can actually have articles that use different, but important, keyword-rich titles all linking back to your blog with your best "niche" phrases in the anchor text.

Usually, our strategy is to use one of the two allotted backlinks allowed by most article directories for our blog, and also link back to the marketing offer on our squeeze page.

Article marketing is an extremely effective way to quickly generate valuable incoming links to your blog, website, or squeeze page. Most directories don't allow links directly to affiliate or replicated websites, however. The most valuable article directories have very high page rank, e.g. 5 or 6. A single PR 5 link gives the same effect as 555 PR 1 links to your page. This is why the strategy is so quick and effective to “promote” you to Google p.1.
