Wall stickers will happily go on glass and furniture, in fact anywhere there is a smooth surface. They last for years, are easily removed, leave no glue behind and your neighbours haven’t got one.

In days of old when textiles were some of the most expensive things money could buy it was often unusual to find a rug on the floor where it could be trodden on. Rugs were hung on a wall so the owners wealth and taste could be admired and envied. Big ones, small ones, plain ones, patterned… when your friends come round and after they’ve gasped in wonder you can all recline in languid luxury and feed each other dates.

So there it is, be the first to put wall stickers up, display textiles like you would a Monet print and build yourself an inexpensive piece of decadence – your neighbours will be green.
