The Indian Air Force or the Bharatiya Vayu Sena in Hindi is the Air Force under the Indian armed forces. Apart from this, the IAF has taken responsibility for various other operations such as Operation Cactus, Operation Vijay release centering of Goa, and the operation Operation Meghdoot Poomalai. The IAF has also been actively and regularly support the UN in its peace-keeping operations worldwide. The commander of the Indian Air Force is the President of India.
