Ignatius Piazza is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced firearms training experts in society today. His knowledge and expertise has enabled him to open and operate Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, the most attended firearms training school of today. But, Dr. Ignatius Piazza has not always been the firearms training giant he is today.

Dr. Ignatius Piazza began his life just like everyone else. He was an average, normal boy who had a knack for getting into trouble while in grade school. As a teenager, he had the average tendencies of not knowing what he wanted to do with his life. He became a Chiropractor and his like continued normally until everything changed in 1985.

Dr. Ignatius Piazza sat in his home with his family one fateful night in 1985. He did the normal things that a father and husband did. He worked during the day, as a chiropractor, and then returned home to his family in the evenings. There was not much difference between Dr. Ignatius Piazza and other men his age up until that night. While watching television, he suddenly heard screeching tires and gunshot explode on the streets outside his home. As bullets broke through the walls of his home, Dr. Ignatius Piazza grabbed his wife and hit the floor. While lying on the floor of his home, holding and shielding his wife, and listening to the chaos that was unfolding outside his home, Dr. Ignatius Piazza wondered the same things that anyone in that situation would wonder. What could he do, if anything? After all, it was his responsibility to protect his family. Although he owned two guns of his own, they were of no use to him now, for they were safely locked away. At that moment, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, Chiropractor and family man, realized what he had to do. He decided that he would ensure his family would never again be put in a situation of vulnerability such as this.

Dr. Ignatius Piazza then began seeking out some of the world’s top instructors in firearms training. He not only attended training courses to learn for himself, but also approached the classes with the mentality that one day he would teach others how to safely handle and operate firearms in a defensive manner.

Dr. Ignatius Piazza did not learn all that he knows about firearms training overnight. In fact, it took him many years. Those years involved many differing levels of training and tests to obtain the expertise he has today. One such test that he sought out was a challenging test of speed, gun handling, and marksmanship. This test is so challenging that in 14 years only one person had been able to pass it successfully. That was until Dr. Ignatius Piazza decided it was time for him to take the near-impossible test. After years of practicing he took that test, Dr. Ignatius Piazza became the second man in history to successfully obtain a Four Weapons Combat Master certification. But he did not stop there.

Dr. Ignatius Piazza knew that if he could learn as much detail regarding firearms training and learn how to use those firearms to defend himself and his loved ones, there was no reason others could not learn the techniques, given the proper training. Dr. Ignatius Piazza then began his quest to develop a firearms training program based on the knowledge he had himself obtained. With this training program, Front Sight Firearms Training Institute was born.

Over the next eleven years, with the help of many firearms experts, Dr. Ignatius Piazza transformed his initial training program into a firearms training empire. To date, tens of thousands of men, women and even children have sought out Dr. Ignatius Piazza and attended various stages of training at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. Through his many years of hard work and dedication, Dr. Ignatius Piazza rose to be the master of his trade: firearms training.
