ISB&M School of Communication, Gurgaon, ties up with Punjab Technical University - By: Shilpa Tyagi

The International School Of Business and Media (ISB&M), Asia’s best emerging B-School has tied up with the prestigious Punjab Technical University (PTU) for its under-graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) media programmes.
Under the arrangement, ISB&M School of Communication has taken affiliation from PTU for the Bsc. MCAJ and MSc. programmes run by the university. The tie up will enable the students getting enrolled to the ISB&M School Of Communication, Gurgaon, for dual specialization degrees in both UG and PG programs – one for the autonomous course run by the institute, and the other from PTU.
Lauding the association, Dr. Pramod Kumar, President, ISB&M said, “We are happy to announce the tie-up with PTU, which starts from the academic year commencing from 2012. We are optimistic that this value-addition in the academic curriculum will augur well for students of ISB&M, School Of Communication, Gurgaon.”
Also present at the do, Prof. Jayanthi Krishnan, Director, ISB&M, Gurgaon added, “We are committed to having quality framework in the academic programs we run at ISB&M School of Communication, Gurgaon. This tie-up with PTU is aimed at creating enhanced competence for learning amongst students.”
The tie up will serve students aspiring for a career in print and electronic media with better future prospects. The course-curriculum followed by PTU will include academics, as well as live projects from the industry. ISB&M School Of Communication trains the mass communication students in journalism, advertising and public relations
Elaborating on this facility, Gaurav Thakur, Head – Corporate Relations and Media Programs, ISB&M School Of Communication said, “Students have taken this tie-up with PTU well. They are preparing now for both our autonomous program of ISB&M School Of Communication and the PTU academic program. PTU is providing us with all academic course module and study material for students.”
