IIM Indore declares PGP 2011 Shortlist with 85 percentile cut off - By: MBA

Following the foot steps of IIM Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Lucknow, Ranchi, Kozhikode and Bangalore, IIM Indore declared the short list of candidates to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) on January 21, 2011 on the basis of the CAT 2010 scores. The total number of candidates shortlisted for WAT and PI is 3808. The total number of students IIM Indore plan to admit for PGP 2011-13 batch is 452.
IIM Indore mentions that the shortlisted candidates will get a separate email shortly with the details on WAT and PI by January 31, 2011. Shortlisted candidates are required to download the interview form from the IIM Indore website and send the filled in interview forms so as to reach the Admissions Office on or before February 7, 2011.
IIM Indore is following a two staged Admission Criteria for the year 2011-13.
Stage 1: Initial Screening
The overall and sectional cut offs of CAT 2010 percentiles considered by IIM Indore for the initial screening are 85 percentile and 80 percentile for Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning sections respectively for the General category candidates.
Stage 2: Final Short list for WAT and PI
The Final Composite Score (FCS) is considered for short listing which includes the CAT 2010 scores, past Academic records (SSC, HSC and Bachelor’s Degree) and professional diversity. CAT 2010 score is given 40 per cent weight, the weight of the Academic Performance is 56 per cent and that of work experience is four per cent.
The Weightages used in FCS are as follows:
