IELTS- International English Language Testing System is the test of international level, clearing after which a student becomes eligible for education as well as job in countries all across the globe. It has become a first step for the students and applicants to apply for their education and jobs further in the countries abroad. Students or the professionals have to clear the test, before taking admission in the colleges and courses abroad. The score card achieved by the students in IELTS is recognised and valid for about 6000 institutes spread across 135 countries. The level of the test is quite tough and most of the students are seen taking a prior training before appearing for the examination. This is to crack the IELTS with good scores and grab a good chance for taking admission in the colleges abroad.

The IELTS exam is of two types, or one can say there are two modules for IELTS, which are for people aiming for different fields. One is the academic test and the other is the general training test. The Academic module is for students, who want to take admission in the undergraduate, post graduate courses or want to go abroad for professional reasons. Whereas, General training test is for people, who want to join some vocational training in abroad or have some immigration reasons. The IELTS tests the student or the candidate on the basis of the situations, which are based on real life. Applicants are checked, how would they act or react in their work environment or in academic sessions, according to which their English skills related to speaking, writing and understanding .

Both the academic as well as general test is divided into four parts, in which the examination is aimed to test its students, which are listening, reading, writing and speaking. The students appearing for the IELTS are required to have great knowledge about all these factors and need to have a strong base in all the forms of English, to score well in the examination. There are specific timings, for each test, which judges the capability of the students and assigns them marks. IELTS, from years have gained the status of being one of the prestigious institutions for testing students on their English skills. For clearing the IELTS, students need to start preparing from the very beginning. The students need to be very good at their reading, speaking, writing and understanding English skills. For this, they must have good command over English language and all its aspects.

Opting for foreign education means, the student needs to gel well in the environment and make a space for himself in the institution or in the work area. For this, the student has to be frequent in all the aspects of English language. More emphasis is given on the English language is because English is a language, which is globally spoken and accepted. The students are recommended to read English novels of foreign authors, which would increase their reading, understanding, writing as well as speaking skills. The students are also advised to do a frequent use of English, while daily communicating with their family or friends, this would help in adding value to their speaking skills, because fluent English speaking is something very important for the person to survive in the countries abroad.

Clearing different stages of IELTS test, a student can get himself enrolled in few of the most prestigious institutions and companies of the world. There is a lot of hard work, which is involved in clearing the entrance test, but once the student gets through the entrance test, then he can ensure a prosperous and an enlightening career for himself ahead.
