How would YOU Like To Bet On The Lottery And Get Paid For Getting Just ONE Number? - By: edward lyons

Now, I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t think we can all get lucky as the £162,000,000 pound lottery winners,(oh boy, would you really want to announce that kind of blind luck in front of the whole nation?…I guess it really takes allsorts to make a world!), but there is hope in striking it lucky, and even get paid for just getting one number picked out in the Euromillions lottery.

For those of you who already know about this, that’s great, but for the uninitiated, please read on, with an open mind…

Hello ladies, and gents,

Thanks for joining me on another BFS outing where I’ll be covering something that I didn’t even consider reporting on within the betting world, but as I have discovered in life, ‘ an open mind pays dividends’, but first, I’ll open with…

The Euromillions Lottery

As I mentioned odds of 8/1 are the standard payout for drawing just one number out, you can see why bookmakers are reporting some pretty sound turnover.

If you feel that you’re in with a chance with cracking the ‘big one’, and winning a life changing amount of money, then I sincerely wish you the best, but if you want to make profits consistently, then stick with me, and BFS, and also ‘Euromillions’, may just be right up your street.

Here’s how it works, based on a stake of just one pound;

Balls Return Odds

1 £8 8:1

2 £100 100:1

3 £1,000 1000:1

4 £25,000 25,000

5 £150,000 150,000:1

So, as the table above shows, all you really have to do is match just one number and you WIN!

Naturally, you can take this to the next level, and stake on more than one number, and go up to five, but the important thing to note is that when placing on the Euromillions you can only win if you successfully match ALL the numbers on your line.

You must factor in that this may seem like great odds in comparison to playing the normal Euromillions lottery, but at the same time, it really is ALL, ,OR NOTHING, as matching anything less than four numbers will not give you a payout-capiche?

Recap, and Bigger Payouts

So, just to make sure we’re on the same page,(forgive the pun!), say, we select ‘lucky number seven’, to come out, and you select the amount of your wager, so let’s be adventurous, and go for £10-and hey, you’ve got the luck of the Irish, and seven comes up, £80 is your return.

Multiple bets can also be selected, and this is where it gets interesting; for simplicity, we pick out numbers, 1,2, and 3, to be drawn, and now you have a variety of options in what bookies call; singles, doubles, treble, Trixie or Patent.

Calculating Your Winnings, and Payouts…

So, to work out how much your total stake will cost, you have got to know the number of bets in each type of bet involved; so in the above case of numbers 1,2, and 3, this would be called a patent, we have to pay seven times our stake, as the bet is made up of three singles, three doubles, and a treble.

I’ve included a rundown of what these permutations to make life a little easier!

Single = One bet

Double = 1 bet but both selections have to come in

Treble = 1 bet but all three of your selections have to come in

Trixie = 4 bets made up of 3 doubles and a treble – you need a minimum of two of your selections to come in to see a return

Patent = 7 bets made up of 3 singles, 3 doubles and a treble – you only need one selection to come in to make a return

Yankee = 11 bets made up of 6 doubles, 4 trebles and an accumulator – you need two of your selection to come in to see a return

Lucky 15 = 15 bets made up 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and an accumulator – you need one of your selections to come in to see a return.

Canadian = 26 bets made up 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 fourfolds plus an accumulator – you need two of your selections to come in to see a return

Lucky 31 = 31 bets made up 5 singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 fourfolds and an accumulator – you need one of your selections to come in to see a return

And if you win, and this information has been of use…make mine a Guiness-ching ching!!
