How win at Tennis - By: shaun kerr

You ask me How. I have always been a positive Tennis player all my life. First I suggest that you write down some goals you want to achieve. In the beginning, firstly, you need to have a killer Backhand and a Service to be a winner. This may not always be the case as I know there are Baseline players who could be as good.. Regardless, first start by practicing your backhand, using the ball in a sock method up to 2 hours, till you perfect it. Try, hitting at empty cans placed on the opposite side of the court. Do use backhand spin drives. This will make it difficult for your opponents to face you. Once you perfect it, begin to concentrate on your Service. As advised before, place cans at corners at the opponents serving area. and practice hitting them for hours. This will be your beginning to becoming a Champion ! Start by rushing the net as as soon as you serve. Of course, you have to make sure the service was a good hard service before you rush the net.If not I suggest you stay back and do that for the next hard service you come up with.If you rush the net with a weak service, it will be like committing suicide.

Today's lesson is on how to improve your forehand. When I was a kid, I used our garage wall to hit my forehand.I would take a Tennis ball and aim my forehand on the garage wall for one full hour almost daily. Result, I had the most devastating forehand among my team mates. They feared it so much that they stood well behind the base line to return it. Another way to improve it is to hang a Tennis ball in a sock and stroke it. Both ways are good to improve your forehand immensely.

"Practice makes you perfect" It is very important in Tennis to practice daily. More often you practice better you will be at the game. The easiest way to practice your forearm and back hand strokes would be to play against a wall. Or if you have a large indoor garage, you can hit with the ball against the back wall of your garage. I perfected both my forehand and back hand by using this method. Secondly, when you stoke the ball, try using an open faced racket to meet the ball on the rise. THE TOSS- Make a circle in front of your front foot when serving and toss the ball up to fall within the circle and place an empty can in the corner of the opposite square and try to hit it when serving. The Serve-It starts with the tennis ball gripped semi-tightly, usually on your left palm, holding against the top of your left knee. Then swing your right arm to the back of your head in an arc. Release the ball by tossing it up perpendicularly, slightly forward. Now,simultaneously, open up the bent right arm and strike the ball just before it comes back from the highest point of travel. Also, it is important to think of a striking target before the impact, meaning the ball should strike somewhere within the square on opposite side. To do that, you must follow the drill mentioned above under "The Toss" described above.

Winning is the Most important in Tennis. and How. First mentally prepare yourself. Say to yourself you are the Best, and there is No other like you. Then as I have written below in this Blog follow my instructions and you will Never fail.Trust me and Believe in yourself. and Pray
