How to grab audio CD using StarBurn Burning Software - By: Jamie Hanson

The free starburn software is used in grabbing, burning and copying. It is simple to use and easy to study the procedure of operation. The wizard directs for easy operation. Therefore, copying and burning method made easier for the user.

There are few steps to adhere.

1. After you open the Wizard the dialog box the screen shows 'Welcome to audio grabber' and the wizard will guide you through the grabbing process using starburn SDK. Insert the CD and refresh.

2. Click the drive from the list you intend to use.

3. Select grabbing tracks and the directory for saving the file.


4. Wizard will the show 'compression' and you have to click the compression template. Choose from the CBR/VBR list, and click next.

5. This step will show you the audio grabbing choice you have chosen. Make correction, if any by pressing the back tab.

6. The grabbing progression begins and the wizard will reflect 'Grabbing Audio CD...'. Press cancel if you need to stop operation. To save grabbing log to text files hit the tab 'Save Log'.

7. The process nears completion. You can click the finish button to exit wizard.


The essential system requirement for the operation is Widows XP SP3, any operation system compatible x86 architecture processor of 32 bit, 512 MB RAM, 50 MB space in the disc, CD burner. However, to attain better results you should have Windows Vista or 7, operation system compatible to x64 architecture processor of 64 bit, 4 GB RAM, disc space of 1 GB and Blu Ray or DVD burner.
