The recommended keyword frequency The first thing to note is that keyword density isn't the same as keyword frequency. The density of keywords on a page is a percentage. The keyword frequency, however, is three, and will remain three even if you plump out the article to 300 words.

It is thought that the search engines have a fairly low keyword density threshold filter.
