Factories and laboratories should have trained staffs who knows how to deal with such occurrences. Moreover, people who are hired to work on such sensitive should be well trained staffs who know how to handle such situations before a greater area is damaged. Production areas and Chemical laboratories which have storage of combustible and flammable materials are extremely vulnerable to fire accidents and so strict and severe measures and safety measures must be observed at all times. Fire can easily extend in these highly sensitive areas to consume any combustible material.
With fire asphyxiating equipment at hand, make sure it not outdated or of no use, the equipment should actually work when it is need as you cannot afford to take a risk in running to a blazing room only to find out that you're carrying an old, dysfunctional extinguisher.
