How to Write Articles Very Fast to Make More Money - By: Charlie Hearns

HOW TO WRITE ARTICLES FAST

The first step to writing articles fast is to begin with a list of topics. After you’ve done your keyword research, generate a list of similar keywords and new topics that may spring from those keywords. Write down as many keywords as you can think of and make that list as long as possible. The more topics you have, the more articles you’ll be able to generate.

The articles that can be written the most quickly are tip articles (7 ways to…., etc.) The reasons are because:

You can write about things you already know

You only need small bits of information

You don’t need transitions between paragraphs

They are primarily factual

Introductions and conclusions are easier and need to be one paragraph each

The key is to not get caught up in too much research. When you get overwhelmed in research, you will get slowed down. You need to work smart, not hard. Write about what you know so you don’t have to do a lot of research and write about something you’re interested in so the writing will go quickly.

So, here’s a step-by-step formula for writing tip articles:

1. Take 30 seconds and pick a topic

2. Choose an angle and a tentative title – use no more than a
minute to do this (X Reasons to, X Ways to, etc. where X is a
number)

3. Create key points for X that will support your topic – 5
minutes here

4. Go into detail about your key points for 10 minutes. More
key points require less information, less key points require
more explanation. Don’t edit while you write. That comes
later.

5. Take 3 minutes to skim your article and shorten or break up
longer piece of text. Keep paragraphs to five lines or less.
A sentence should be able to be read in one breath.

6. Edit your article looking for spelling and grammatical errors.
The article should read smoothly.

7. Tighten up your title and make it compelling.

8. Do one final review to be sure the article is what you want it
to be.

This will allow you to write an article in less than 30 minutes. The more you know about a topic, the quicker the writing will go. But what if you don’t want to write a tip article? You can still write a good number of articles quickly without having a formula.

What I like to do is sit down with a list of topics that I’ve brainstormed about. I always have a list of at least 50 topics I think that would go over well and be good for marketing. I pick one of the topics and do some perfunctory research. I know that I don’t have to become an expert on the topic; I just need to know enough about it to write like I’m an expert.

Then, I just write. I write as quickly as I can and I just don’t stop. If a story comes to mind, I tell it, if I’ve heard a statistic or rumor about the topic, I tell it. I don’t stop writing for 15 minutes or until I get to 500 words.

Then I go back and re-read what I’ve written. Sometimes it makes sense and sometimes it needs a little re-arranging to flow better, but remember, we’re going for quantity here not a Pulitzer Prize.

When I do this type of speed writing, I can turn out about 10 articles in two hours which is a pretty good amount for a day’s work. After I’ve got my articles, then I go about submitting them to the article websites, but that’s a topic for another section in this book!

If you are truly serious about article marketing, the more articles you submit, the more money you make, so we’ll just boil an article down to a simple format that you can follow for nearly any topic. Remember not to spend too much time thinking and then follow this template:

1. Pick an interesting title.

2. Choose three main points you want to cover in the article.

3. Write an introduction telling about the points you are going
to cover.

4. Make one paragraph per point giving a bit more information
on each point.

5. Write the conclusion re-iterating what you said in the body
and briefly touching on each point again.

6. Write your bio box with your affiliate link inside.

7. Review and edit your article.

That’s it. This is a sure fire template that can work with any topic you can think of. Over time, this will become much easier the more you do it, and you will find that writing on demand will be a skill that can become very valuable to you – especially when it comes to article marketing. Because, as we’ve said many times before, the more articles you have to market, the more money you’ll make!

You should strive to write 5 articles per hour. This is not going to happen right away if you aren’t used to writing or writing quickly. It may take you 15 minutes or more in the beginning. But once you get the hang of it, you will soon find that writing 5 articles per hour is easy as pie.

Dedicate three or four hours to your writing and you’ll have enough to get started. Do this every day for a week and your arsenal will just grow and grow.

Another good technique to write quickly is to just write without thinking. Write whatever comes to mind – a stream of consciousness technique. If you sit and think about what you are going to write, you will start tossing out your original ideas and not get anything done.

Most people get writer’s block when they think too much about what they are going to write. Begin with just one sentence and let the rest flow from there. It works. I know. I’ve done it. Just jump in and start writing.

You see, to succeed at article marketing, you don’t need the best and most prolific articles; you need to just have the most articles. The more articles that are out there, the more that are available for people to read and the more chances you have they will click through to your affiliate’s website. It’s that simple and that’s how the system works.

Another suggestion I want to put out there for you is to pick a minimum of 30 keywords per product. That’s 30 articles promoting the same affiliate product and more exposure for you. Plus, we can’t say it enough – the more exposure you have on the web, the more chance you have that your reader will click through to your affiliate.

What do you do, however, if you feel you just cannot write an article no matter how hard you try? For some people, the thought is frightening. For other people, they think they just don’t have the time. What’s the answer to that question?
