How to Win Every Argument - By: Elena Bullock

After every argument, you can clearly see who won. Sometimes I win, sometimes someone else wins. But to be honest, before I've started to analyze why I'm losing arguments, I was losing much more often than winning. And that really hurts. I realized that ' how to win every argument ' research was a must.

Quite often I was sure I was correct with my statements and facts, but I simply couldn't express it in a right way. There was always something holding me back and my 'opponent' had better things to say to compromise my sentences.

So what did I do wrong? Tough question - but let's get started.
I wasn't prepared. If you see an argument coming - prepare yourself. Make a strategic plan. Based on your experience, you could probably predict how the conversation will flow. Use that to your advantage and prepare response for everything.

Find and present evidences that you are right. Try to take your evidences from different sources. More you get, better are chances you will win. No one can fight against clear and correct evidences. But bear in mind that you have to present evidence that is positive for you. Don't let your opponent take advantage of your work. Sometimes is better to present nothing than something.

Sometimes, depending on your opponent, you can win without holding strictly your side. You can put yourself into opponent's position and show him pros as well as cons of his point of view. You have to be creative at this one because your ability to convince someone that you are right is very important here.

So as you probably see, there are numerous ways to win an argument. It all depends on how skilled you are at presenting your side and your facts. But most of all you have to believe in yourself and in your principles. That is the key answer to question in title: ' How To Win Every Argument? '.
