If you love to shop, then organization is key to keeping your wardrobe in check and also to getting dressed quickly. Organizing your clothes is one thing, but organizing your jewelry is just as important. After all, who wants to spend 10 minutes untangling a fabulous necklace when you¡¯re running late and trying to get out the door? Instead, be smart about storing your beautiful baubles. It will make getting ready fun and it¡¯ll save you time.

Consider displaying your necklaces for all to see. If you have pieces that you absolutely love, then show them off in small candy colored dishes. Arrange them on your dresser or bureau as part of your room d¨¦cor. Another idea is to purchase a multi-tiered serving tray (usually for cakes). Put your long chunky necklaces on the bottom tray and as you work your way up, add smaller necklaces until you¡¯ve created your own window worthy display.

If you have a walk-in closet, an empty wall next to your closet or even an extra bulletin board, consider hanging your necklaces for quick and easy access. Use a one piece bar with hooks that can be mounted. Or, try something a little more artsy and use individual decorative hooks or drawer knobs. These will create a fun way to show off your favorite necklaces. Plus, it will cut down on the time it takes you to get ready. With all your necklaces at your fingertips, it¡¯s as easy as grab-and-go.

If you have the time, lay out each of your necklaces with the outfit that you would wear it with. Photograph and keep a binder, or punch holes and mount on a keychain. Keep these pictures close to your closet so getting prepped for an event or dressing for work is efficient. You¡¯ll never be left, staring at your closet and thinking ¡°What am I going to wear?¡± again.
