How to Pick the Right World of Warcraft Guild For You - By: Michael A. McGrath

World of Warcraft is the biggest massively multi-player online role playing game ever created. To level in this MMORPG you must rely on social interaction within the game to a certain extent. In fact this social interaction isn't confined to just teenagers. Warcraft's appeal spans across the generations.

Interacting with other players can happen anywhere in the game. However, deliberate and intentional meetings between like-minded players occur when they join guilds.

Guilds are conglomerations of like minded players who work together for a common goal that also benefits each of the guild's individual members. I suppose a guild is like a gang or an army of players who all share the same ideals and goals and want the same outcome. They are a society dedicated to one and other.

Different guilds will focus their priorities in different ways and joining a guild is not just a matter of applying and being accepted.

Whatever guild you want to join they will wish to know your level of commitment to world of warcraft. Before approaching a guild or even accepting an invitation from one you should know how many hours per week you plan to be online playing and what you expect from guild as well as what you are prepared to offer.

For many players finding the right guild for them can be difficult and frustrating. Starting a guild from scratch can always be a good idea when you know what you want from a guild. Be prepared to take some steps and make some mental plans before you embark on building your own guild. Guild recruitment must be undertaken in a deliberate fashion so that the guild members who join share the same vision for the guild that you do.

Setting out the plans and objectives of your guild is important. Determine from the start of you wish to build a large guild that focuses on combat or just want a small group of people whose main aim is to help each other level up.

Have a think about what way you want your guild to go forward. What do you really want from the guild and how do you want it to approach the game? Is you guild more concerned with PvE or PvP?

With the correct approach to recruiting and choosing members you could have a great and powerful guild in a very short period of time.
