You can go that route, but that is not really the recommended way. Most neighborhoods have some sort of soliciting law and you would be wise to follow it to the letter. This really is not a good idea for door to door sales. It takes a good bit of energy and time spent walking from door to door not to mention the hassle that you will receive in selling door to door. It is actually safer to sell through the internet as opposed to selling door to door.

Selling through the internet does not expose you to the dangers of door to door selling. With all the craziness in this world, why on earth would you subject yourself to that for? That is just asking for trouble and trouble can also follow you home and make much more trouble. A word to the wise, don't sell door to door.

Why Is Door To Door So Troublesome?

Simply put, in the eyes of the law, that is soliciting and you have to be registered with them in order to be able to not get them called on you and you taken to jail for violating a communities "No Soliciting" law. That is a heck of a price to pay just to sell knives and in the long run isn't worth the time or the trouble that it would cause. No amount of money can make up for being harassed and putting yourself in danger.
