The lovers love to live together everyday. When it cool,there is a hung;when they feel lonely,there is a accompany. Although absence makes the heart grow fonder,but for the long-distance relationship, it often be a test for these two people. Long-distance relationships are becoming more common in USA today,as transportation and communication becomes easier and faster.According to recently,more than 60% of

students show that they want to break up with lovers in two places. 32% students point out that some friends are in this situation and only knew a few people like that.

Another research has been carried out, the data show that nearly half of them are less than 30 years, most of them are in college or at the beginning stages of their career.

Why they choose this way? According to conversation, we know that there are two main resons, which are overseas education and different job locations.

A Chinese girl married a American last year. Before she got marry,she had a long-distance relationship with her husband-to-be for three years. They knew each other in a friend¡¯s wedding. Since the man worked in USA, they got to know each other by MSN or phone call. She said that there is a rule that we would talk to each other by MSN in the afternoon, which is never changed.

She told that their relationship can keep going on due to the same believed about the future. During three years,her fianc¨¦ have been to China four times, which is including the initial meeting at the wedding.

She also said that sharing a same goal is very important. I started to apply to American university after we dated each other online for a short time. So we know we are going to be together at the same point.

And she did it. she go to USA for future education in the summer. They have spent a year together in the US and decided to marry last year. After graduated, she found a job at a small company. They live so well and going have a baby in the following months.

Mary is new worker ,just graduated from last year. She staying with her boyfriend for more than two years. Her boyfriend is a soldier. He can¡¯t stay with her everyday. ¡°I feel nervous that I am going to be apart from him. We stayed together for most of the past two years. He has become part of my life. But I believe that we will have a bright future and he promised me he will come back as soon as possible after leave the army,thought it will lasted for five or six years or even more longer.¡± She say.

Five or six years is a long time, and she still tested by temptation from outside the world. Somebody say a process from long-distance romance to marriage was necessary to sustain the relationship.It is the attitudes and feeling of person-to-person contact that makes a difference.
