When you are trying to make money from Internet Marketing and
selling something on your own site, the name of the game is to get
traffic to your site. There are ways to pay to get traffic and
there are free ways to get traffic. One of the best free ways to
get traffic is by writing articles. Here’s how to get traffic from
writing articles.

The first step to writing an article is to pick a keyword phrase to
target. You want it to be a phrase that’s searched a lot. So you
need to go to a free keyword tracker on the Internet and type in a
keyword phrase. The keyword tracker will then tell you how often
that phrase is searched for and it will also tell you related
keyword phrases and how often they are searched for.

Choose your keyword phrase and then put that in the title of the
article. For example, if you are writing an article in the free
traffic niche, you might decide to target the phrase “free taregted traffic exchange”.
So you might decide to title your article, “How to
Start getting free traffic Today”.

Then you would write the article on that topic. You would also want
to include the keyword phrase once in the introduction paragraph,
at least once in the body of the article, and once in the
conclusion. You don’t want to include it too much.

While writing the article, use the introductory paragraph to tell
the reader what you are about to tell them (preview the article).
In the body of the article tell them what you need to tell them.
Then in the conclusion of the article, tell the reader what you
just told them (summarize the article).

You then want to submit your article to one of the many article
submission sites on the Internet. The best one is
Ezineartticles.com. Cut and paste your article onto the site and
then put a call to action with a link to your site in the signature
box. For example, you might write something like, “Want to start
getting free traffic to your website today? Just click here (insert
link).”

Once you submit the article and the article becomes live on the
site, then you want to visit the social bookmarking sites and
bookmark your article on all of them. This will help your article
rate better with the search engines and it will also get you
traffic from each of the social bookmarking sites.

That’s how to get traffic from writing articles. It’s a process
that doesn’t take a lot of time and will produce great results for
you.
