Go back to the Start button and select the Run command but this time type cmd and press Enter. When the MS-DOS prompt opens, type regsvr32 /u � and the path to the file to be deleted. The path to the file needs to be the precise location (starting with the drive letter).

For many people the process of removing Virtumonde is very annoying. But the worst is that if something goes wrong, you might have to reinstall your Windows from scratch, which often means that you lose all the information on the drive where Windows is currently installed. Sounds very bad but there are programs, which can minimize the risk.
