How to Earn Residual Income in a Business Opportunity Online - By: Jim C Green

The Internet has turned out to be the most rewarding sales environment in history, spawning countless new millionaires. What business ventures and thoughts are best in creating not only immediate sales, but long-term success through residual income streams?

Sure, there is money today in Internet sales. In a 2006 article by John Chow, the top 10 Google AdSense publishers were bringing in from $10,000 to $300,000 monthly. But this is managed income, requiring effort every day. What about "hands-off" passive income streams?

Recently, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, in effect endorsed the MLM model, even stating that if given a "do-over" they would have selected MLM to create their own wealth. Network marketing companies still offer the best chance to achieve profitable residual income streams, if selected carefully.

Consumable products, that are only one of its kind and helpful work best for this, since your customers will need to reorder from you. Generics should not be accessible, or not as effective and "valuable" as your "genuine" products.

So how can you leverage MLM in the Internet age? My concise response is "Attraction Marketing." In a more detailed answer, the social networks and blogs provide the best leverage in this method. The first step is to take a self-inventory and then to construct your own "brand." What are your strengths and experiences? How can these be leveraged, not just for your own wants, but for the larger good? Every person has a distinctive contribution that they have been "designed" to make. What is yours? We suggest that fulfilling your own "destiny," coupled to the right network marketing business will unlock your own personal streams of residual income.

Next, you can simply start using social media, blogging and other tools and "attraction marketing" techniques, to feed into a sales funnel for your own judiciously selected network marketing efforts. In this process, your most important "brand" is your own name. In my case, with a common name, I selected JimGreen.us as my WordPress blog (too late to get a dot com). All my social media sites also are in my name, reinforcing my own "brand." For instance, my Twitter account is Jim_C_Green, etc. Your aim is to produce a social media site "vortex" of websites interconnected with your blog and feeding your sales funnel. The last step is to build an effective sales funnel for your MLM business.

Your "brand" needs to encompass your passion and the contribution areas that you have been "gifted" to participate in. What are yours? One of my mentors, Dr. Ivan Misner, created Business Networks International based on "catch phrase" that, for me, says it all: "Givers gain." We believe that this is one of the primary universal laws. What this means is that your own income will be proportional to your own contributions to society. Keep this in mind and your "attraction marketing" efforts will have no limits. Leave me a remark if this tactic works for you!
