All the same, although experiencing problems indeed discourages people to want more things in life, this shouldn't be enough reason just to let the chance of living a better life go. 1. Let old go. Experts say that the first step to treat problem through self-motivation is by studying to let go of old. Is because if you already accepted that the're problems are beyond your control, you are in a position to forgive yourself and start anew. If you wish to commence with self-motivation, try to end everyday and forgive yourself for the matters that you were not in a position to finish or accomplish these days. If you were in a position to do that, you will look forward to a new day and new opportunities that will come along your way.

2. Try to run your personal race by setting your personal pace. Although it is often healthy to be competitive in terms of achieving goals, there would always be times if you will get tired of running after so many things because you don't want others to end before you. More than not, people who compare themselves with others are those who are left behind without anything because they spend too much time thinking how can they outlast the other person, thus, neglecting his or hers priorities.

To maximize self-motivation to its fullest, it is perfect if you run a race at your personal pace so you will not get tired. This will also be beneficial for you because you can rest when you wish to since nobody is breathing down your neck to end something.

3. Always take one step ahead. To be in a position to continuously motivate one's self despite so problems, it is almost always perfect to take one step ahead of things. Meaning, you have to plan ahead and do things ahead of time so you will received more opportunity or chance just in case the first plan didn't work.

Taking and thinking one step ahead are the perfect foundations of self-motivation because if you were in a position to develop these, it could be easier for you to take tougher and bigger problems or challenges along the way.
