How To Write A Powerfull Press Release - By: porretta2007

Just exactly what are press releases and why should the very first step during your cash gifting marketing plan?

A press release, from a traditional sense, is an announcement to the press about a certain event or product, written by a company rep or an individual. This is a typical example of a press release title:

"Dell Launches It's New Wireless Computer"

The body of such press release should relatively short, to the point and jam with a ton of details about the new product or service. The finishing details would contain contact info and a web-site link to where individuals can obtain more information. The purpose behind a press release is to get media coverage for the new product or service offered.

YOUR press releases are going to have a slightly different structure along with a different end result in mind...

Taking a realistic approach it is unlikely that a serious magazine or TV network will run a story about cash gifting and in the event they do... why would they prefer to discuss a "newbie" online marketer, that has no experience or track record?

So, what's the point in writing a press release?

1. To receive natural search engine traffic.

Every time somebody does a Google or Yahoo search on a topic associated with cash gifting, you want your content to show up someplace on the first 2 pages. You certainly can pay to have top position however it is expensive and not neccesary especially when you are first starting out.. Press releases really are a Terriffic way to get high positions on google search listings without paying a dime.

2. Tou always want to create content with your name attached to it for branding.

Let's say somebody views your website and they are enthusiastic about cash gifting and Cash King Frank Porretta's Helping Hand cash gifting program. What do you think the next step they will take? They are more than likely going to google your name and look for interesting, informative information. If they find nothing out there with your name attached to it, your prospects are going to have doubts about you and your program. They might then go and google "cash gifting mentors" and find someone who looks more impressive and join under them. You Do not want this to happen!

3. Creating Backlinks to your website is key.

Jusr exactly what are back links? They are something that search engine spiders hunt for when they are listing your website (spiders are programs that Google and Yahoo use to determine what search position to list websites on). Backlinks are web pages that contain your URL on them. If you have lots of back-links pointing to your website, search engine spiders consider that it's very important and list it at a better position. That is why, when you type in the simple keyword "apple" in the search engines, the } very first thing on the listings is the official site of the tech giant, not your local farmer's page.

These 3 objectives are extremely vital that you remember on every occasion your writing a press release. If you don't keep these goals in mind, you may end up wasting a lot of time and getting poor results when you write press releases.

So your wondering, how do you write a press release meeting these 3 objectives?

Alway's remember to write in 3rd person , do not say "I", "my", "me" etc. in your press release unless you're quoting somebody.

1. Begin at a title

The title is the absolutely thee MOST IMPORTANT part of your press release. If you write an GREAT press release with a poor title, you will find that the press release will have little to no effect on the reader. The title of the press release is going to be the title of the search engine listing. Thus... you need your title to get optimized for search engines. This means having a popular cash gifting related keywords and key phrases in your title. You should NEVER try to apply a general key phrase like "cash gifting" or "make money online"... because you will NEVER show up on the first page of the search engine listings.

2. Using The 5555 Mantra

Our 3 press release goals are: search engine optimization, back-links and name recognition. The 5555 mantra is a trick that helps you accomplish all three of those goals.

Here's how it works:

- repeat the name of the opportunity a minimum of 5 times within your press release.

- Replicate Your name at least 5 times - the readers will be more likely to remember it.

- Use 5 links in your press release. I like to recommend having 3 of these links be directed to your main website, one to your Youtube channel, and one to your Blog.

- Use your Key Phrase at least 5 times. This is very important! Even if you use your key phrase twice in the title, that is still not enough to get you high up on the Google listings. That's why you need to repeat your key phrase a minimum of 5 times in the body of the press release.

3. Do not forget the tags

The tags of your press release are categories that it's going to be put into. You want to try to use as many as you can: most free press release websites are going to restrict the number of characters you can use for tags. The rule of thumb is to use general tags as well as very specific ones. The rationale behnd this is, whenever someone searches for something general like "cash gifting" or "internet business" on the press release site, your press release is going to be one of the press releases to show up on the first page.
