You have been disillusioned with your job for a number of years. You are fed up with the long hours, having to answer to a boss you don't like, the daily grind of commuting, and bringing home a pay check that left you with practically nothing at the end of the month.

However, over the past few months, you either read something or spoke to someone that suddenly opened your eyes to the possibility of a way out of your current circumstances.

And that something was Internet Network Marketing. This development in technology has allowed essentially anyone with a PC and internet connection to generate an income from home and finally escape the rat race.

It is an exciting, uplifting feeling when you first learn about the promise of financial security and a better lifestyle that internet network marketing can bring. The sudden realisation that you could potentially generate an extra income to even replace your existing income from the comfort of your own home is quite an incredible feeling.

However, that exciting, hopeful feeling can soon lead to despair and frustration for the vast majority of newcomers to the Internet Marketing industry.

They soon get bogged down by all the technical details or they realise that it takes a bit more dedication than they were first led to believe.

However, one of the more common misconceptions that a lot of newcomers believe is that they have nothing to offer the world. They may have been online for a while, but haven't seen the extraordinary results that they often see being advertised by the top internet network marketers.

One of the key things to understand is that no matter who you are, there will be someone out there who will identify with you. Let me give you an example. How many friends do you have at the moment. 1, 5, 50 or more? Where and how did you meet them? More than likely you met them in your local area or at work and most all live within a few miles of your home or at least in the same city.

Now if you extrapolate that to the internet, you now have the potential to have “in-your-face” access to literally millions of people, just by using social network technologies such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc. Even if only a miniscule amount of them can relate to you in some way, just as your friends did, that equates to thousands of people.

But the thing is, if you don't put yourself out there, how will they get to see you?

So don't be put off by the lack of response your internet marketing efforts are giving you. You have two options:

1. Do nothing and continue on with your life, or

2. Continue marketing yourself and give other people the opportunity to see and relate to you.

It’s up to you which you choose! So, what’s it going to be?
