As society has changed a lot in modern life and become a very busy one and one full of worries, many people have started to notice a decline in their memory's performance towards many different aspects of their lives. The improvement of our memory can be achieved by changing our behaviour throughout our daily lives. Lets look the matter of sleep.Sticking to basics, a way in which you can improve your memory is by getting eight hours of sleep every night as for the body to become energetic it needs to go through a period of repair and restoration of freshness. Through the needed eight hours of sleep this repair and restoration of freshness automatically begin and the brain is one of the most vital body organs that recieves this revitalizing power. According to some research done, it has been shown that several neurons in the brain become inactive when we're asleep and use this time for their 'self repair'. However, when a person is awake such process does not seem to happen.





The fact that memory can further be enhanced through activities such as a body work-out might not be a common thing to you. Exercising not only does your cardiovascular system and muscles a lot of good, but also helps enhance your memory's performance. Now of course proper cardio workouts help keep your arteries clean including the capillaries in one's brain. As a matter of fact, the more the brain recieves oxygen nourished blood, the better the function. That and, exercising is a fantastic way to free you from stress as stress itself can cause a very negative impact on your memory so the shortest way out is to eliminate it.





As I just mentioned above in brief, stress can make it difficult for us as we try to progress in improving our memory. As a result of stress, external stimuli gets blocked from entry into one's brain, causing the closure of the channels deemed necessary for remembering and learning. One of the most effective ways to fight stress is by keeping a social life that is both healthy and active. An effective way to lower stress-levels is by spending time with people you care for as this clears the air of any negativity. According to numerous researches being made, another way to lower stress-level is through laughter as researchers have said that the production of brain chemicals that reduce stress and give happiness a boost.



It has been agreed recently by scientist that diets that are healthy for the heart and contain low-fat not only support cardiovascular health, but also enhance brain power. Fats and plaques located in the brain's arteries make the process of the necessary flow of blood to the organ a slower one causing it to become less effective. The creation of new neuro-pathways found in the brain has also been found to get stimulated by antioxidant-rich foods. These days, one of the foods recommended that is being promoted by many experts is red wine as a flavonoid which is known as Reservatrol is found in it and is really great for your brain health. if you are too young to consume alcohol or don't like to drink, you can consume this ingredient through grape juice. If on the other hand, you're a person who drinks, please be warned that drinking a lot of alcohol can get your brain cells killed so it is best not being over done. Your Behaviour does not have to under-go big life changes for you to end up with a fully functioning healthy memory. All you need to do is pay attention to simple things that need to be taken care of being the reducton of stress, getting the right amount of sleep and doing exercise. Your forgetfullness will then start to reduce more and more and it will soon feel as if a brand new memory chip has indeed been installed in your brain!
